Police say Catherine Spear was “safe.”
The NRPS thanked the public for their assistance.
There were concerns for her welfare due to pre-existing medical conditions and the need for daily medication.

The Niagara Regional Police Service are trying to locate a missing Fort Erie / Crystal Beach woman.
On April 18, 2015 at approximately 11:00AM, 65 year old Catherine SPEAR left Eastwood Manor at 348 Eastwood Avenue in Fort Erie for a walk. This is in the Crystal Beach area. When SPEAR did not return the Police were contacted.
The Police are very concerned for SPEAR’s welfare due to pre-existing medical conditions and the need for medication on a daily basis.
SPEAR is believed to have been last seen in the area of Rebstock Rd and Ridge Rd in Fort Erie (Crystal Beach) at approximately 5:00PM on April 18, 2015.
Description
– Female white
– 5’4″, 155lbs
– Short brown hair
– Glasses
– Wearing a green and red spring jacket, and white pants.
Anyone who may know the whereabouts of SPEAR is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police.
There will be an increased police presence in the Crystal Beach area of Fort Erie as the search continues. (Picture Below)
