Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Niagara Falls, Welland and the Southern Niagara Region with strong winds (gusting to 90 km/h) that may cause damage to be expected if they have not started already Winds of this level are strong enough to cause some tree damage and power outages. Motorists should drive with extra care and be prepared for difficult driving conditions due to strong and gusty winds. Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
