On Saturday August 10, police say they attended at a townhouse complex located at 6118 Kelsey Crescent in Niagara Falls.
With judicial authorization detectives and tactical officers from the Niagara Regional Police Emergency Services Unit secured a residence within the townhouse complex.
The same tactical officers successfully orchestrated the peaceful surrender of 28 year old David Nathaniel Joseph of no fixed address. Joseph was taken into custody and turned over to detectives and is now facing a number of weapons-related charges.
Investigators believe he had been moving throughout Niagara Falls in an effort to avoid arrest. He is being held at police headquarters in Niagara Falls pending a Bail Hearing.
