CAA Niagara’s Worst Roads Campaign continues and you have until Friday to have your say, but so far results of about 200 respondents have put Drummond Road in Niagara Falls as a top contender for the worst.
The good news is that Drummond Road is set for a revamp within the next 10 years and there will even be resurfacing done from Thorold Stone Road to Morrison Street (estimated completion is by 2020).
Other top contenders in CAA Niagara’s list of bad roads include: Pelham Road in St. Catharines, McLeod Road in Niagara Falls, Ontario Street in St. Catharines and Sider Road in Fort Erie.
CAA reported that 93 per cent of people cited potholes and crumbling pavement as reasons for their selection.
Besides having your say on the driving conditions, the campaign is offering prizes to lucky participants including a chance to win $100 Kelsey’s gift cards, and one voter will even score $2,500 worth of gas.
