Niagara Regional Police say they are investigating a serious accident that happened in west Pelham.
On October 10, 2023, at 9:48am officers responded to a report of a serious single vehicle collision and then attended to the scene on Victoria Avenue north of Sixteen Road.
A lone female in her 20s was being treated by Niagara Emergency Medical Services paramedics and Pelham Fire Service personnel. She was transported to an out of region hospital with what is believed to be life threatening injuries.
The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene, assisted by the NRPS Forensic Services Unit. The circumstances around this collision remain under investigation.
Victoria Avenue was closed between Sixteen Road and Twenty Mile Road.
