Three suspects are being sought after and overnight robbery that occured in Port Colborne according to Niagara Regional Police.
On August 15th, 2022, at 10:09pm Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) say officers responded to a residential address in the area of Elm Street and Meadowlark Drive, in the city if Port Colborne regarding a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner who indicated three masked men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered their home and demanded items of value. The homeowner was able to flee from their residence and into the street for assistance. The homeowner sustained no physical injuries.
All three suspect fled the scene in what is believed to be a black Volkswagen Passat with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

Detectives are investigating and are appealing to potential witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the robbery.
Residents with CCTV footage in the city of Port Colborne that captures the Elm Street and Meadowlark Drive area and motorists who may have been in the area with an operational dash-camera are encouraged to review their footage.
