Niagara Regional Police continue to investigate a homicide that happened St. Catharines Monday night.
Officers responded to a call in the area of Glendale Avenue and Marsdale Drive at about 8:30 p.m. where they found a 32 year old man with gunshot wounds in the parking lot at Oakridge Public School. The victim was then transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased and has now been identified as Yan Jing, who was a resident of St. Catharines.
Detectives continue to investigate the case and are appealing to the public for anyone who may have captured footage on their residential or dashcam surveillance systems. Officers are specifically seeking any footage in that area that captures and matches or is similar to the following criteria between the hours of 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm:

4 Door Grey

Last seen walking south on Marsdale Avenue towards Glendale Avenue
