Police say they were called to the scene of a hit and run in Niagara Falls where a dog was killed while being walked by its owner.
The incident happened at Eastwood Crescent and Victoria Avenue yesterday. The man involved in the incident said the car was driving dangerously, brushed past him and then mounted the curb and hit his dog. The car continued without stopping, crossing a front lawn and then narrowly missing a female who had just parked and got out of her car.
The suspect vehicle is a white 4-door hatchback. There may be damage on the front driver’s side bumper.
The driver of the suspect vehicle may have been male. No further, suspect description is available at this time.
Officers investigating the incident have been able to locate images of the suspect vehicle moments before and after the dog was killed (see photos).
