Police say they are investigating a shooting after officers were called to the area of Niagara Street and Church Street in St. Catharines for reports of gunshots.
The incident occurred at about 12:50 am and when they arrived they found an 18 year old male victim. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries which were minor.
At this time, officers with the 1 District Detective office do not have a suspect description but have reason to believe this was a targeted incident.
