At approximately 12:05am on Sunday September 1, police say they were called to the area of Kenmir Ave and Tanbark Rd in Niagara-on-the-Lake following the report of gunshots.
A subsequent investigation by detectives revealed that an unidentified male fired at least 4 shots into a residence before fleeing the area.
The male was a rear passenger of an older, possibly early 2000’s, four door silver Volkswagen Golf. The car had a light blue patch on the front passenger door and the front silver rims are different than the rear silver rims. (See below photos)
The vehicle was observed in the area several hours prior to the shooting. While there were no injuries, detectives believe this was a targeted event.
