During the month of July, police say they initiated an investigation into stolen property in St. Catharines and Thorold.
On July 25th, 2019 Detectives executed a Criminal Code search warrant in south St. Catharines, recovering over $8,000 in stolen property on or near the residence.
Charged with 1 count of possession of stolen property over $5,000,2 count of possession of stolen property under $5,000, 2 counts of break, enter and commit an indictable offence,1 count of theft under $5,000, and 1 count of breach of probation is 18 year old Matthew Belisle of St. Catharines.
Charged with 1 count of possession of stolen property, 2 counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 , 2 counts of break, enter, and commit theft, 1 count of theft under $5,000, and 5 counts of fraud under $5,000 is 20 year old Kaylee Van De Byl of no fixed abode.
Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing on July 26th, in St. Catharines.
