Animals at the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society are patiently waiting for the holiday gift they want more than anything – a loving home. Through its iAdopt for the Holidays campaign, the shelters are trying to place as many animals as possible into loving homes in time to spend the holidays with their new families.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a pet to your family, now is the perfect time. iAdopt for the Holidays, supported by Royal Canin, runs until Dec. 31 at participating SPCAs, Humane Societies and rescue groups nation wide. Last year, over 4,000 animals from across Canada found their forever homes during iAdopt for the Holidays.

No one should be alone for the holidays and by adopting a homeless animal, you’re giving that animal a second chance. They will bring joy and companionship to their adopter all year long. With people having time off from work and being home together as a family, the holidays are a great time to welcome a new furry companion and help them get settled.
