In 2018 police say that members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Morality Unit started a drug trafficking investigation.
On October 25, 2018, with the assistance of the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit and the NRPS Emergency Task Unit , a man and woman were arrested in a parking lot in Niagara Falls.
A search warrant was executed at their residence in the City of Niagara Falls. During the course of the search police seized the following:
– 223 grams of cocaine (about 8 ounces) Value $22,000
– 530 tablets of alprazolam (Xanax) Value $1000
– Trafficking related paraphernalia scales, cellular devices etc.
– $16,165 in cash as proceeds of crime
– Ruger 10-22 rifle that has been cut down and modified
– Two high capacity magazines
– Ammunition

As a result of the investigation, 23 year old Brandon Fitzgerald of Niagara Falls and 20 year old Jordan Judge of Niagara Falls are facing various alleged charges regarding drugs, firearms and ammunition.
Fitzgerald is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday October 26, 2018 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines while Judge was released on a Promise to Appear/Officer in Charge (PTA/OIC) with a future court date.
