Niagara Police say they have been investigating a case since May regarding suspicious bruising on a resident of a group home for special needs adults.
As a result of this lengthy and complex investigation, on Monday July 2, 56 year old Csilla Dorgai from Thorold was arrested and charged with the alleged offences of assault.
Dorgai is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing today at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
As this is an on-going investigation, and in an effort to not identify the victim, detectives are not releasing the name or location of the group home to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
