Thousands have gathered for the past few days at the ScotiaBank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls for the incredible CONNECT 2018 event.
CONNECT is Canada’s largest education technology conference with over 2,000 participants, a myriad of exhibitors, speakers and sponsors, who all united together with the common goal of sharing and expanding the horizons of education technology in the global and digital economy.
The conference which wraps tomorrow, is all about learning, debating, networking, exchanging ideas and being inspired as we move to the future of education.
Below, founder Dino Miele who was inspired to create CONNECT has seen it grow by leaps and bounds yearly since its inception in 2011 with participants that now include educators, leaders, chief information officers, directors of education, IT experts, business managers, government sector institutions and more that are all committed to gathering once a year to enhance teaching practices with the use of technology.

The conference had some excellent speakers that engaged in bold and thought-provoking conversations on how the education sector and business can work together to support students by cultivating 21st century skills.

Recognized as one of the 18 Outstanding Women in Tech and Diversity MBA’s top 50 under 50, Dr. Donohue is a leading social scientist, a world-renowned speaker and TEDX presenter, bestselling author, television personality and columnist and had the crowd captivated in the auditorium at the Convention Centre.
Overall CONNECT was an entertaining and educational experience that brought so many sectors together, with so much ground breaking technology that you couldn’t help but think that it may nice to be back in school again!
