Police say that on March 15, uniform officers and Detectives from the #5 District Criminal Investigation Branch investigated the report of a theft involving a male and female who allegedly stole a number of items from a fully-furnished residence they had been renting on Graeber Avenue in Fort Erie.
Investigators were able to locate the stolen property and arrest the former tenants. A number of household items were recovered including bedroom and living room furniture.
Charged with Theft Over $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 is thirty-five year old, Michael Hicks and thirty year old Anastasia Potter. Hicks was released with a future court date and Potter was held for a Bail Hearing.
