Spend Family Day exploring biodiversity and habitat conservation @ the Museum! Join the Earth Rangers for shows @ 11am, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm. Join us for family day at Bass Pro Niagara!
We will have a special story time where we will read a funny book called Whose Butt??
Grab a bag of popcorn and listen to our story @ 11:00 am in our camping department.
Be the first to finish our new Scavenger Hunt in store. The hunt will take you through all 81, 000 square feet of our store and you will have to keep you eyes and ears open to solve all the clues. Scavenger hunt begins at 12:00 noon. We will start in our camping department where you can pick up your map.
We will have crafts set up from 1-230 for our crafty kids!
For our older kids, we will offer a Para cord bracelet seminar. Learn how to make and take home your survival bracelet. Kids aged from 9-15 are welcome. (Due to the complexity of this activity, we must have an age limitation) This activity will run from 3:00-4:00pm in our camping department.
All of our activities are FREE of charge and are available on a first come first serve basis, while quantities last. Parents must remain with their children at all times.

Family Day Activities at the Smithville Arena
Location: 177 West Street, Smithville
Things get underway with the firefighters’ breakfast that runs from 8:00 am – 10:30 am. For $5.00 visitors can get two eggs, two slices of back bacon, toast, coffee, juice or water. After filling up on the most important meal of the day, kids can burn off some of those calories at the FORT craft station in the upstairs hall, which runs from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Or they can head out for public skating in the arena from 9:30 am – 11:00 am.
Those who love the wonders of science can enjoy a Mad Science show in the upstairs hall from 11:30 am – 12:20 pm, while kids can get their faces painted from 10:00 am – noon.
The firefighters return to serve lunch from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm. For $3.00 you can get warm chili or a hotdog with pop, juice or water.
Hockey fans will be in for a treat with the West Lincoln Minor Hockey Association superskills competition, which runs from noon to 1:30 pm, followed by the WLMHA coaches vs. West Lincoln Firefighters hockey game from 2:00 – 3 pm. To register for superskills visit westlincolnwrath.ca. The public can then lace up the skates for another free public skate from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm.
