As the days countdown to Christmas, there are tons of activities going on locally to get you in the festive mood this weekend.
The annual Niagara-on-the-Lake Santa Claus Parade starts at 11 am on Saturday Dec. 9th. The parade is said to be one of Ontario’s most beautiful and is set against historic Queen Street. For full details click HERE.
Next, The Fantasy of Trees continues in Grimsby through until Sunday. This is Rotary Club of Grimsby annual fund-raiser that features the beauty of 45 decorated trees on display. Money raised at the event through silent auction and lottery proceeds goes back to the community and $15,000 was raised last year. In Niagara Falls, the Deck the Falls Holiday Walking Tour returns to the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights. Tour stunning venues within the tourist district in Niagara Falls. Each location offers different activities including culinary and gourmet food sampling, holiday beverages, entertainers, desserts and treats, fun photo opportunities, life-size games, live music entertainment, craft workshops, ice sculptures and more.
