Police say since March of 2017 members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating a St. Catharines male for his involvement in the sales of cocaine throughout the City.
On April 4, 2017 he was observed to be operating a stolen pickup truck as well as using stolen licence plates on the truck and at about 1:40 pm he was arrested at the Outlet Collection of Niagara in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
The male was found to be breaching several conditions of his probation release as well as driving while he was on an indefinite prohibition from driving. Police searched the stolen vehicle the male was driving and seized cocaine as well as drug trafficking indicators with an estimated value of over $13,500.
Trevor Herdman, a 33 year old resident of St. Catharines is charged with several offences including possession of stolen property and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Herdman was held in custody pending a bail hearing for April 5, 2017.
