Police say, earlier this year members of the Guns, Gangs and Grows Unit began an investigation into the sale of drugs from a Niagara-On-The-Lake home.
As a result of the investigation Police obtained a search warrant on March 30th for an East West Line residence. At approximately 4:15 pm the male and female being investigated exited their home and left in a vehicle, but were stopped by Police and arrested and found to be in possession of a large amount money and drugs, including cocaine and heroin.
Police executed the search warrant and found a large amount of marijuana, a small grow operation and a loaded semi automatic rifle as well.
Charged with 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession of Proceeds, 1 count of Careless Storage of a Firearm, and 1 count of Unauthorized possession of a Firearm is 33-year-old Alexander Sneyd, and 24-year-old Margrette Falvo. Both accused will be held for a bail hearing.
In total Police seized $4400.00 in cocaine, $21,115.00 in marihuana, $600.00 in heroin, and $3,330.00 in cash.
