The Niagara Regional Police Service is warning residents of a new email scam that is being seen across Canada and the United States.
The email advises the recipient that they have an unpaid ticket which includes a link to view the ticket and how payment can be made.
Members of the public are advised not to click on the link or reply to the email simply delete it. By clicking on the link, malware can be automatically downloaded to your computer.

Police are reminding the public to ensure their computers are protected with the latest anti-virus and firewall software and use care when opening or dealing with any unsolicited emails.
