The Niagara Regional Police is requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspects involved in a mischief that occurred at the Niagara on the Lake Golf Course
Police say around 10:00 pm on October 23th, 2016 and 7:45 am on October 24th, 2016 unknown persons went to the Niagara on The Lake Golf Course in N-O-T-L and concealed by the darkness they removed a number of directional arrows and strew them about, landing near the maintenance shop.
The suspects then made their way over to the golf cart storage area and managed to cut the security wire and release the steel cable which bound the carts together. This freed up four (4) EZ GO carts which the suspects took for joy rides making their way down to the edge of the course at the bank of Lake Ontario, causing destruction along the way.
The suspects fled the area undetected. If anyone has information that may assist investigators with the identification of the suspects or may have any information relating to the incident, you are urged to call the Niagara Regional Police, 2 District Detective Office 905-688-4111.
