Police say that on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at approximately 9:57 pm members of the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to the Petro Canada gas station located at 437 Niagara Street in the City of St. Catharines for reports of a Robbery.
Investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the store and produced a knife demanding money from the lone attendant. After receiving a quantity of cash the male fled the scene on a bicycle Westbound through the adjacent plaza parking lot. The gas station attendant was not physically injuried during this incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0 tall, with a slim build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood drawn tightly around his face, black sunglasses, loose fitting light khaki pants and white running shoes.
This incident is being further investigated by members of the 1 District Detective Office. Anyone with information relating to this incident is requested to contact investigators at 905 688-4111 ext. 4385.
