On Sunday September 25, 2016 at approximately 8:30 pm, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service say they attended the Peoples Variety on Portage Road, Niagara Falls, in response to a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, police learned that a lone male suspect had entered the store, was armed with a weapon and confronted the clerk. The male was wearing dark clothing and had a covering over his face. The suspect stole a quantity of cash and fled the store. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a dark zip up hoody, a black baseball hat, blue jeans, and possibly safety glasses with orange on the arms of the glasses. He had visible grey hair.
