Police say, on Sunday February 21st, 2016, at approximately 01:35 a.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service was contacted regarding reports of a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Seductions Gentlemen’s Club situated at 8860 Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
As a result of the continued investigation by the #2 District Detective Office, a second suspect has been identified. With the assistance of Durham Regional Police, on Thursday September 1st, 2016, Oshawa resident, Jason MEICHELBECK, 30 years of age, was arrested in the Town of Whitby. He was returned to Niagara and is charged with three counts of Assault with a Weapon in relation to this incident. MEICHELBECK was held for a bail hearing.
Malcolm EDWARDS remains outstanding and is wanted on a Canada wide warrant for three counts of Attempted Murder and numerous firearms offences. EDWARDS’ current whereabouts remain unknown. He was a resident of Niagara Falls and has ties to the Toronto area.
EDWARDS is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public. The Niagara Regional Police are appealing to Malcolm EDWARDS to contact a Lawyer and surrender himself to police.
