Options for getting around on the GO system seem to be getting better. Starting today, Saturday, Sept. 3, route 12 GO bus service, which currently runs between the Burlington GO Park and Ride and the Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, also stopping in Grimsby and St. Catharines, will now stop at the park and ride at the QEW and Ontario Street in Lincoln. Buses will run seven days a week and will be timed to meet with GO train service at Burlington GO Station.
Earlier this year, Metrolinx announced that GO Train service will be coming from Hamilton to Grimsby by 2021 and to Niagara Falls by 2023. On top of the new stop in Lincoln, buses will continue to go to existing stops in Burlington, Hamilton, Grimsby, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.
