Police say, on Monday Sunday August 21st, 2016, at 4:20 am, Niagara Regional Police Uniform personnel & members of #2 District Criminal Investigation Unit, attended Line 2 Road in the Town of Niagara on the Lake for reports of a stabbing. Initial investigation revealed that a female victim sustained multiple injuries as a result of the stabbing after an altercation. The victim in this matter was transported to the Niagara Health System & treated for non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of a Police investigation conducted, on Sunday August 21st, 2016, the Niagara Regional Police arrested & charged:
1). Collea Dubinsky of Hamilton with one count of Aggravated Assault, contrary to Section 268(1) of the Criminal Code.
2). Barrington Brown of Hamilton with one count of Aggravated Assault , contrary to Section 268(1) of the Criminal Code.
Dubinsky has been held for a bail hearing on August 22, 2016 & Brown was released from custody pending a future court appearance.
