Police say, on Saturday June 11th, 2016, just after 12:00 am, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Church Street and Niagara Street, in the city of St. Catharines in response to a disturbance. Upon arrival, police were informed about an altercation between two parties.
During this altercation the victim sustained a stab wound to the upper left abdomen. The suspect fled the area prior to police arriving on scene. The victim was transported to the St. Catharines site of the Niagara Health System in serious condition. Since this incident the victim’s condition has been stabilized.
Police are looking for a male involved in this incident. He is described as a male white approximately 6′, with blonde/brown short hair, in his early 20’s, wearing a black shirt, black acid wash jeans, and white shoes. He was last seen walking west bound toward St. Paul Street in the company of a female.
