The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is supporting a province-wide road safety campaign to makes Niagara’s roads safer…
In the past 24 hours alone, the NRPS say they have arrested 10 drivers who were impaired by alcohol and issued 32 traffic charges including three speeding offences that exceeded the posted speed limit by more than 40 km/hr. In addition, several written warnings for lesser offences were issued.
Drivers are reminded to refrain from using cellphones and other handheld devices while driving, to obey speed limits, and not to drink and drive.
