Good news that summer is coming as seasonal GO trains return to Niagara later this month.
Metrolinx announcing the service will operate during the Victoria Day and Thanksgiving long weekends, as well as throughout the summer on weekends and holidays from June 24th to September 5th.
The service runs between the Bridge Street train station in Niagara Falls and Union Station in Toronto with stops in St. Catharines, Burlington, Oakville, Port Credit and Exhibition place.
Niagara’s political leaders are continuing their efforts with the province to bring year-round GO train service and have hinted at a summer announcement.
GO Transit expansion to Niagara and Bowmanville had a notable mention in the most recent provincial budget.
