Police say, on Sunday May 1st 2016 at approx. 1:10am, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended a residence on Louisa Street, in the city of St. Catharines in response to a break and enter that just occurred. Upon arrival, police identified a 24 year old male victim who was transported to the St. Catharines site of the Niagara Health System with minor injuries. Investigation revealed that two male suspects forcefully entered the victim’s residence resulting in a physical altercation before fleeing the area with some of his property.

 

The first suspect was described as a white male approximately 6’3″ with a slender build wearing dark clothing and a black baseball hat. The second suspect was described as a white male approximately 5’11” with a heavier build, blonde hair wearing dark clothing and a  black and white bandana covering his face.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that this was not a random act of violence and the victim was the intended target.
