The Niagara Falls Humane Society is dedicated to providing compassionate care and shelter for abandoned, abused and injured companion animals. A safe refuge and temporary home is provided until a loving, permanent and responsible home can be found. NFHS also provides community education, animal control services and a vibrant and varied volunteer program. (Wally below at the shelter .. why not come and visit him)?
NFHS is fortunate to have the support of pet stores Paulmac’s, Pet Valu and Petsmart who all provide support and satellite adoption sites for cats. Cats are also available at Niagara Square’s Adoption Centre (thanks to Niagara Square’s generous donation of space!) which is open during mall hours. The shelter’s adoption room also provides the opportunity to spend time choosing the right cat for your family.

We always have something going on to raise funds to help the animals. There is a raffle for an adorable Scentsy owl warmer at the Adoption Centre right now. We have our Trivia Night coming up on April 22, and our fun-filled Ruff Night event on April 30. We also have bingo every month, the next date is April 17th at Delta Bingo.

Every dog in Niagara Falls must have a dog license. They are available now, please get yours soon. Remember, your dog’s license is his best ticket home if he gets lost!
