Police say, since December of 2016, members of the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit have been conducting an investigation into individuals suspected of trafficking cocaine and crack cocaine in the City of St.Catharines.
As the investigation progressed police began observing suspected drug deals throughout the City including areas that are within close proximity of an Elementary School during school time hours.On Wednesday April 6th 2016, police observed several suspected drug deals throughout the City of St.Catharines. At approximately 4:35 p.m., police arrested five parties in the Grantham Avenue / Facer Street area.
A search warrant was granted for a Grantham Avenue residence which resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Canadian currency, a prohibited weapon and a prohibited firearm (handgun).
Arrested and charged was 30 year old Robert Scott of St.Catharines.

As a result of this investigation Police seized $9,300 worth of Cocaine and Crack Cocaine, $7400 in Canadian Currency, a prohibited firearm and a prohibited weapon. All parties have been held in custody pending a bail hearing on April 7th 2016.
