Time to grab the kids and get out to your local Easter Egg Hunt!  Here is a list of some of the top spots this weekend:

 

 

N-O-T-L The Bunny Trail

The Bunny Trail, hosted by the Niagara Nursery School, starts at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Niagara-on-the-Lake Kinsmen Club’s Egg Hunt. After the eggs have been collected, a ton of indoor family activities will be going on.  This is the 20th year for the event!

St. Catharines

The JCI Easter Egg Hunt takes place today from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Jaycees Garden Park, 543 Ontario St. in St. Catharines.

Thorold

The Thorold Easter egg hunt also takes place today, hosted by the Protection Hose Company No. 1. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the egg hunt set to take place at 10 a.m. sharp.

Fort Erie

Ridgeway egg hunt is happening at the Ridgeway Village Square in the centre of downtown at 12 noon.

Beamsville

Great Lakes Christian High School will be the scene for the annual Easter egg hunt put on by Village of Hope with 10,000 eggs. It starts today at 1 p.m. sharp.

Admission is a food or financial donation to Village of Hope.

Beamsville

The Beamsville Lions Club will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at Beamsville Lions Park Community Park, 5100 Fly Rd. Egg hunts are broken down into time and age categories of newborns to three at 9:30 a.m., four to six at 10 a.m., seven to nine at 10:30 a.m., and 10 to 12 at 11 a.m.

Port Colborne 

The city and the Port Colborne Lioness Club will have their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Roselawn Centre today.

Event kicks off with a breakfast with the Easter Bunny ($8) at 10:30 a.m., followed by a hunt at noon. Donations accepted for the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee and the Lionesses.

Welland

Welland Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 will host its 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt at Merritt Island on Saturday, with hunts for the one to three age groups at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; for four to seven at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.; eight to 10 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; 11 to 15 at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and for families at noon and 2:30 p.m.

The cost is $2 per child, with proceeds supporting Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Niagara.
