Are you an entrepreneur that has what it takes? Ready to make your pitch to producers of the super popular CBC Show Dragon’s Den? If so, you are in luck because the ScotiaBank Convention Centre will be the scene this weekend where you can try out to get on the show . Auditions will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday March 19th at the Convention Centre ( located at 6815 Stanley Ave) in meeting room 208.
Some Important Details:
YOU MUST APPLY ONLINE
Prospective pitchers have to apply online and bring a completed application form to the audition. CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION. If you plan on auditioning in person as well, please submit your online application first. According to the CBC website: Auditioning in person is very helpful, but not necessary to get on the show.
WHO CAN AUDITION?
Auditions are open to all types of participants…so don’t be shy! All ages and all businesses at any stage of the game welcome to give it a go! Just prepare by getting a 5 minute pitch (or less) ready to summarize your business concept. If you show the producers you have what it takes to pitch in the Den, you could be invited to Toronto to face the Dragons (Jim Treliving, Michael Wekerle, Michele Romanow, Joe Mimran and Manjit Minhas).
