At approximately 11:30pm on March 9, 2016 the Niagara Regional Police say they responded to a report of a motor vehicle that struck a home on Highway 20 in West Lincoln.
Investigation revealed that the vehicle was eastbound on Highway 20 and failed to negotiate a curve near Adams Road. The vehicle left the roadway and travelled approximately 400 meters through a grassy area alongside the south shoulder of the road before striking the west wall of the house. The vehicle struck the house with such force that it broke through the wall and came to rest in the kitchen of the home. Neither the driver nor the occupants of the home were injured. Total damage is estimated at $100,000. Guy Morrison, 56 years of Hamilton, is charged with Impaired Driving.
