Police say, on Friday January 15th, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the CIBC bank located at 124 Griffin St N in the Town of West Lincoln to investigate a robbery that had just occurred.
The investigation revealed that the unknown male suspect entered the CIBC bank at approximately 10:40 am with his face disguised and approached the teller and demanded money. After receiving a quantity of money from the teller, the suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 20-30 years of age, 5’10” to 6′ tall, slim build, wearing dark coloured jacket with the hood up, a black scarf or balaclava covering the lower portion of his face, black gloves and dark coloured pants.
The incident remains under investigation by the 8 District Detective Office and anyone with information is asked to call Investigators at 905-688-4111 ext: 5400.
