According to police, on November 19, 2015, 59 year old Pelham resident, James Corbett was arrested and charged with sexual assault. James Corbett was later released from custody following a bail hearing. This offence took place at Cedar Ridge Stables in the town of Pelham where James Corbett is both the owner and lead trainer. Following the November arrest, eleven additional victims came forward alleging that they were sexually assaulted by James Corbett at Cedar Ridge Stables. With this new information, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Sexual Assault Unit continued the investigation. On Tuesday December 15 a second arrest was made.
Charged with eight counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and three counts of sexual exploitation is 59 year old Pelham resident, James Corbett. James Corbett is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on Wednesday November 19, 2015 in the City of St Catharines.
