According to police, on Saturday December 12th, 2015 at approximately 3:16 p.m. members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the CIBC bank located at 27 Main Street West, Grimsby to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. Investigation revealed that a lone male had entered the CIBC bank while armed with a weapon. After receiving a quantity of cash from the teller the suspect fled on foot toward the rear parking lot.
During the investigation, police were able to obtain an image of the suspect. He is described as a white male approximately 20-30 years of age wearing dark coloured clothing.The suspect is described as a white male and wearing a dark jacket and baseball hat. The incident remains under investigation by the Grimsby Detective Office and anyone with information is asked to call Investigators at 905-688-4111 ext: 5400.
