According to police, in the late summer of 2015 members of the Welland Street Crime Unit initiated an investigation into the sale of drugs in the area of King Street in Welland, Ontario.
On Thursday September 24, 2015 the Welland Street Crime Unit and the Niagara Regional Police P.A.V.I.S. Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant at a King Street address. As a result of the warrant police seized approximately $5,000.00 in suspected cocaine and over $1,900.00 in Canadian currency.
Roshawn Palmer, a 25 year old male is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by Crime Under $5,000.00, and Breach of Probation.
Rohan Palmer, a 26 year old male is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by Crime Under $5,000.00
Both of the arrested males are being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday September 25, 2015 in St. Catharines, Ontario.
