The most effective leaders in society are those rare individuals who can inspire their audience with a passion that can only come from personal experience.
That is in essence what Joe Roberts, otherwise known as the “Skid Row CEO” represents.
Joe has an incredible story of transformation and hope for everyone that listens. Once a homeless drug addict on the streets of East Vancouver, Joe took control over his life and now is a wildly successful entrepreneur and philanthropist.
He made his first million dollars before he turned 35 and was named one of Business in Vancouver’s 40 Under 40 Outstanding Business People and one of Maclean’s 10 Canadians Who Make a Difference. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Ontario Premier Awards for business excellence.
His story will touch anyone who listens and empower them with the message that anyone can overcome limitations and live their dreams.
Join the Rotary Club of St. Catharines as they begin their ground-breaking new series called “Speakers Corner” where Joe Roberts will be speaking at Ridley College Oct 2, 2015.
Joe will not only be relating his own personal journey, but also talking about the plight of homeless youth across Canada. Hear of his “Push for Change”- pushing a shopping cart across the country from coast to coast and how we all can help him reach out to our youth.
