Police say on Thursday September 10th 2015, at 9:23pm, Street Crime Detectives, with the assistance of Uniform personnel from #8 District, conducted a traffic stop on the QEW just east of Maple Ave in Grimsby.
Detectives recovered 127 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine with a street value of over $19,000 inside the vehicle as well as a small quantity of Cocaine and Ecstacy. Detectives also located a quantity of cash and cell phones.
The driver of the vehicle was later identified as a driver for hire and released unconditionally after further investigation.
The two passengers, 24 yr old Jeremy DUPUIS-CORMIER of Niagara Falls and 25yr old Robert MACFADYEN of Niagara Falls, were charged and held for bail hearings on September 11th 2015 in St Catharines.
This is the fourth time that DUPUIS-CORMIER has been arrested by Niagara Falls Street Crime Detectives for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine since April of 2015. At the time of his arrest he was still before the courts on all the previous charges and had been released on a Recognizance with numerous conditions.
DUPUIS-CORMIER faces the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 Counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Breach of Recognizance (2 Counts)
MACFADYEN faces the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine)
Breach of Probation
