According to police, on Thursday August 20th 2015, members of the Niagara Falls street crime unit with the assistance of the Detective Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant as a result of a cocaine trafficking investigation. Police investigation revealed cocaine trafficking to be ongoing from a Niagara Falls residence.
Within the residence police recovered $2400 worth of cocaine as well as a quantity of cash.
64 yr old Lawrence HEYWOOD stands charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine as well as possession of proceeds of crime.
48 yr old Robert ZWICKER stands charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
Lawrence HEYWOOD will be held pending a bail hearing on August 21, 2015.
Robert ZWICKER was later released with a pending court date.
