Police say on Sunday August 16th, 2015 at approximately 2:00 am, an incident occurred on the patio of the Golden Brothers Bar located in Welland Ontario. As a result of this incident, 49 year old Richard Doucet from Welland was critically injured and transported to a Hamilton hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
There were a number of people who were in the bar, out on the patio and in the parking lot at the time of the incident. Police wish to speak to anyone with information on this occurrence; police can be contacted by calling; 905-688-4111 ext 3300
