Extreme heat continues today and into tomorrow in the Niagara Region. Why not make your pooch a delicious stay cool treat to get through these dog days of summer!
FROZEN BLUEBERRY YOGURT POPS are refreshingly good on a hot day! Made with fresh Blueberries (which are a superfood) and natural yogurt these not only taste good – but they are good for your dog!
Here’s what you need:
Ingredients:
Mixing Bowl
Ice Block pop molds
1 cup Plain Yogurt
1 cup Water
1 cup Fresh Blueberries
Method:
Mix yogurt and water together in mixing bowl
Add a few blueberries to the inside of each of the ice pop molds
Top up each mold with the yogurt water mixture
Put tops on molds
Freeze for several hours until frozen solid
Remove from freezer
Dip carefully frozen ice pops into some cold water for a few seconds — this will allow easy removal from the ice pop mold.
Make sure you hold these for your dog to eat as these molds have a plastic stick which will need to be removed.
