Police say during the month of July, 2015 members of the Niagara Regional Police – Guns, Gangs and Grows Unit commenced an investigation into a rural residence in the City of Niagara Falls.
On Thursday, July 30, 2015 a search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Emergency Tactical Unit. A large scale marihuana grow operation containing 1072 marihuana plants in different stages of growth was located and seized by police. The estimated street value of the seized marihuana is
$1,072 000.00
Charged with Production of a Schedule II Substance (Marihuana), Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Marihuana) for the Purpose of Trafficking and Theft of Hydro is Mark PIGEAULT (44 years) of Niagara Falls.
PIGEAULT was released from custody with a pending court date.
