Jazz lovers rejoice! The TD Niagara Jazz Festival has officially announced the lineup for some great entertainment coming to Niagara…why not check it out?
More than 200 artists and artisans and 35 bands will perform in more than 20 venues across Niagara for 4 big days of jazz in July. The TD Niagara Jazz Festival celebrated the official launch of the 2015 event with a crowd of over 100 supporters at Two Sisters Vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake today.
In its second year, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival presents the finest Canadian and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians by way of spectacular concerts, wine, craft beer, and culinary packages, and free performances throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake and selected locations throughout Niagara.
“We’re thrilled at the amazing line up for this year’s festival,” said Executive Director Juliet Dunn. “In fact, we’re thrilled with every aspect of the festival – from sponsors, to volunteers, venues and partners, the support has been overwhelming.”
The flagship event will be held at Jackson-Triggs on Friday, July 24th with renowned musician Michael Kaeshammer headlining. Performances continue through the weekend and feature Canadian jazz greats: Robi Botos, Heilig Manoeuvre, Barbra Lica, and more.
With a range of options from free stages to exclusive VIP experiences, there is truly something for everyone. “And it’s not just the jazz that makes this unique. The festival will also feature an exclusive Etsy Marketplace and swing and Latin dance lessons to live bands at Simcoe Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake.”
Four weekend packages are available for adventure-seekers looking to explore Niagara wine country this summer and spend the night in the stylish luxury of White Oaks Resort and Spa.
“We’ve put together a unique Niagara experience featuring some of the finest performers from across the region and across the globe,” added recently named TD Niagara Jazz Festival Artistic Director and event co-creator, Peter Shea. “I am delighted to be a part of bringing some of the very best Canadian jazz artists into Niagara’s own backyard.
