On Wednesday May 20, 2015 the Niagara Regional Police Service, Niagara Emergency Medical Services, and the Niagara Fire Department will assist a Niagara Falls chemical manufacturing company with a mock training exercise.
The exercise is designed to test overall preparedness by the manufacturer and local emergency services.
The exercise will take place between 10:00AM and 12:00PM in the area of Stanley Avenue and Progress Street in Niagara Falls. There will be road closures in the area.
The public should expect to see an elevated presence of emergency personnel in the area at that time.
The name of the manufacturer is not being released prior to the exercise in order to maintain the realism of the training experience.
