According to police, during the early morning hours of Sunday April 26th 2015, they responded to an alarm call at Father Fogerty Learning Centre on Thorold Rd in Welland. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the building had been broken into and items had been stolen.
A short time after the initial alarm call, Police responded to another alarm call a Gordon School, which is also located on Thorold Rd. As police arrived, they obseved two males fleeing the scene on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the two males were taken into custody.
The males are 15 and 16 years of age, therefore their identities will not be released. Both youths were charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering, and one count of Possessing Break in Instruments.
They are being released on Promise to Appear notices with Court dates.
