According to police, since March of 2015 members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit and the 1 District Criminal Investigative Branch have been investigating Two people for selling drugs from a Niagara Street residence. As a result of the investigation, On Friday April 24th, 2015 police obtained a search warrant for the Niagara Street residence. At approximately 11:15 pm the warrant was executed and two males were arrested.
Charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime is 22-year-old Taylor Cronkwright. Also charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substrance for the Purpose of Trafficking is 53-year-old Sheldon Brooks. Both males will be attending a bail hearing on April 25th, 2015.
As a result of this search warrant police seized $3,200.00 in heroin, $4,900.00 in crack cocaine and $675.00 in cash.
